In this seminar, we take a deep dive into all things DSM-5! We focus on helping you differentiate between similar sounding disorders (i.e., somatic symptom disorder vs. illness anxiety disorder, bipolar I vs. bipolar II, and schizophrenia vs. schizoaffective vs. schizophreniform, etc.) Next, we take a closer look at trickier concepts, highlighting neurocognitive disorders and spending time discussing psychotic spectrum disorders. Finally, we offer tips on recalling specific statistics pertaining to the diagnoses (i.e., prevalence and concordance rates) and provide charts, graphs, and visuals in the included participant packet pdf to aid your studying.
